The Next Web takes place in Amsterdam May 8–9. We’re very excited and proud to be a part of the trade mission of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, representing the technology sector. Big thank you to the Department for International Trade (DIT) for inviting us.
Digital Detox will be represented by all three of its founders; Donovan Justice, Liam Snelling and Charlotte Walsh. If you’re going and want to talk all things tech and design, be sure to find us in the Startup Pavillion!
The TNW Conference brings together keynote speakers from leaders accross the wider tech industry to speak to thousands of attendees from around the world. The Next Web celebrates innovation and thought leadership in the field, and topics ranged from scaling your business, artificial intelligence, product design and blockchain. Wider issues that come into conversation over the weekend included whether Europe had the potential to become ‘the next Silicon Valley’ despite Brexit looming with all of it’s potential ramifications. Also, how do companies readjust to the increasing consumer demand for immediate services, such as uber fast delivery. Businesses who have so far buried their head in the sand on this movement will sooner or later have to address this issue head on.
